Best of Everything for Dogs

All of us who love dogs know that food is not the only thing that a dog needs. In addition to a healthy diet, dogs need plenty of affection, veterinary care, and shelter. But, dogs also need other things to make their lives more rewarding, such as comfortable bedding, food and water dishes, collars or harnesses, leashes, treats, training, toys, and much more.

Dogs bring a lot of happiness into our lives, they are our faithful companions; they watch our homes, they guard us, and they even work for us. One incident that happened with our Frenchy Gabby was when she thought there was a person sneaking past our bedroom window. It was actually just a large fern frond being blown by the wind, but she launched herself at the window without a thought in order to protect me. Don’t worry, I caught her before she could come to any harm.

We have bears living in our vicinity and sometimes they wander into the yard. One day, not too long ago, a large male bear just sauntered by our dining room window. Pip caught sight, or smell, of it instantly and started barking furiously. As the bear went around towards the front yard, Pip followed from inside at a gallop and threw himself against the screen door to try to get out. Fortunately, the door was latched, but that little Frenchie had no thought of himself, he only wanted to protect his home and friends. Aren’t dogs just great?

No matter how much attention you give your dog, they all love toys. Tug of war toys are popular with any dog, and you’ll be surprised at how strong even a small dog like a French Bulldog is. Our Mouseish was especially fond of squeaky toys. She just loved working them over to hear that squeak, and she had more fun with those toys than you can imagine. Take a look thought some of the great sites I’ve listed below and see how easy it can be to make your dog’s world happier. When your dog is happy, the entire house is happy.
